BLACK COLLAR PUPPY

Collar color: Black
Sex: M
Date born:  January 25, 2008
Time born:  8:00 pm
Weight: 14.5 oz

I was the sixth puppy born.  My auntie Linda helped me enter the world, she is a trainer for Pawsitive Teams and will choose a puppy to train from this litter.  I'm competing a little with the tan collar puppy to get her attention (we both want her to train us!).  I was a little slow at getting the hang of the nipple thing, but now I'm doing really well.  I even hang on when my brothers and sisters try to steal it from me!  I'm one of the smallest of the litter... but only by a half ounce or so.  I'm a pretty quiet kind of guy and can lay in your arms for hours without a peep!  (just ask my auntie D).  I was born at 8:08 pm.

At day 10, I'm still not the biggest puppy, but I can still hang on to that nipple and not let go, even if my brothers and sisters try pushing me off.  I'm a strong, and determined little guy!

At 2 weeks, I'm the second smallest boy.  I'm learning to walk, and it sure is fun to race to mom when she comes in the whelping box!

At 3 weeks, I'm still very good at holding on to a nipple and not letting my brothers and sisters knock me off, even though they're bigger than me.  I've got strong mouth muscles!

At 4 weeks, I'm good at eating regular food too.  It's really yummy.  I haven't escaped the whelping box, but my littermates have.  I like staying in the environment I know... it's warm and comfy in the whelping box.  I like to play with my littermates, and I can even growl.

At 5 weeks, I'm the mellowest of the litter.  I like to play quietly, but will go on all the equipment in the yard too.  I'm not afraid of it, and like walking through the tunnel, or sleeping in the play house.  I'm small enough to fit in the cozy sleeping areas.

At 6 weeks, I love to cuddle.  I also enjoy the outings we go on, but most of the time, I fall asleep half way through.  I'm usually the quietest during the car ride... unless I have to go potty... then I cry to get out!

At 7 weeks, I love to tear up paper... especially when it is freshly laid in the pen.  I walk in there, and it looks all neat and proper.  I can't stand order, so I just go in there and mess it all up... IMMEDIATELY.  I can take alot of "abuse" from my littermates before I tell them off.  They try and bite my tail when I'm sleeping, or push me over.  I'm very tolerant!

At 8 weeks, I went to live with Heather & Rick in San Diego.  My new name is Rory.  I now have a sister golden named Cady.  I'll be active in pet therapy work, and when I'm not working, I'll be enjoying lots of fun things like agility, surfing, dock diving, and maybe even flyball.  I'll be taking lots of trips to the beach too!
