BLUE COLLAR PUPPY

Collar color: Blue
Sex: M
Date born:  January 25th, 2008
Time born: 6:20 pm
Weight: 15 oz

I was the first puppy born!  I kind of slipped out when Judy and Charli turned their heads for a minute.  Tricked them, didn't I?  So, I may have a sense of humor when I grow up, or at least be able to play tricks on people and get a good laugh.  I was born at 6:20 pm, and went for the biggest, best meal on my mama's belly.  Hey, I'm the first born, I had lots of choices!

At day 10, I'm one of the smaller boys, but you know what they say... good things come in small packages!

At 2 weeks, my eyes are open the most.  In fact, my eyes were the first to open at 11 days!

At 3 weeks, I'm getting teeth, and I know how to bark.  My mama makes us stand up to eat our dinner now, so I have to stretch really tall to reach.  I'm still a petite boy, but my muscles are getting strong!

At 4 weeks, I have a sense of humor.  I love to play.  I'm also a little adventurous.  I think it's so funny to bite ankles when my whelping box is being cleaned.  It's also fun to rip up newspapers!

At 5 weeks, I have the biggest voice, and I know how to raise it if I don't like something.  Like having to stay in the pen while the play yard is being cleaned.  I just want to get out there and play.  Or, while riding in the car... I really can cry then!

At 6 weeks, I like biting my littermates tails.  I hold them in my mouth so they can't walk away.  I think it's really funny!  I got to go for a special outing to visit my virtual namesake, Stan.  That was so much fun because he is my special friend.

At 7 weeks, I love digging in the sand.  The other day I dug all the way to China!  I made this really nice hole that you can lay in... it's so nice and cool on hot days.  Sometimes my whole face is buried in the sand.

At 8 weeks, I am traveling back to Oregon with Dr. Joy, the breeder.  She will decide if she wants to keep me or my green collared littermate.  Then, which ever one she doesn't choose will go to live with Teri in Idaho... on 5 acres... isn't it beautiful?!!  The Boise River runs on the east side of the property, and a 2 1/2 acre pond is on the west side of the property... lots of water for dogs to play in!  If I live there, I would have a 5 1/2 year old yellow lab sister named Sadie. Check back to find out who gets to live with Teri (hope it's me)!
