TAN COLLAR PUPPY

Collar color: Tan
Sex: M
Date born:  January 25, 2008
Time born: 9:13 pm
Weight: 1 lb, 1 oz

I was the eighth puppy born.  I was very quiet when I first entered the world, and still remain low key.  What's all the fuss about... don't worry be happy.  I'm the second biggest of the litter, which proves you don't have to be loud and pushy to get the food!  My auntie Linda helped me enter the world, she is a trainer for Pawsitive Teams and will choose a puppy to train from this litter.  I'm competing a little with the black collar puppy to get her attention (we both want her to train us!).  I was born at 9:13 pm.

On day 10, I've been the biggest puppy all along, but now my littermates are catching up.  I'm a pretty quiet kind of guy.

At 2 weeks, Yippee I still maintain the biggest boy title!  Actually I'm the biggest biggest!!  Sometimes I have to lie on my back because my stomach is too full.

At 3 weeks, I'm maintaining my title of being the biggest boy.  Purple thinks he can steal it away from me though.  I won't let that happen.  Sometimes I complain, but someone has to do it!

At 4 weeks, I'm not the biggest anymore.  I get a little nervous in new environments, or if I'm held for too long outside of my nice, safe whelping box.  I'm working at getting more confident though.  I even went exploring the living room yesterday... I did pretty good too!

At 5 weeks, I'm not crazy about being picked up.  I'll hang out for a little while, but then will cry so I can go back to the comfort of my litter mates.  I get a little stiff when held... not everyone enjoys that, ya know!  I love my play yard though, and will play on all the equipment.

At 6 weeks, I like being held more now... it's kind of fun.  I also like the outings we go on, and I rest comfortably in the stroller.  I love my play yard and running across all the equipment.  My favorite place in sleeping inside the tunnel.

At 7 weeks, I love to bite ankles... and hold onto pant legs.  If you walk around, you better look down because I will most likely be hanging on!  I love being held now, and will relax in your arms and give you my puppy dog eyes!

At 8 weeks, my new name is going to be Tumpton.  I went to live with Jamie, who is a student at UC Davis.  She will be involved in ecology so I will get to accompany her when she's in the field.  She is going to take me everywhere with her, and I can't wait to visit all her friends.
