I was the ninth puppy born.  Finally, another girl after all those boys.  I have a patch of white fur on my chest, and a smaller one on my head.  I'm the darkest red of the litter.  I'm soft spoken and laid back.  Speaking of laid back... I can eat lying upside down!  I was born at 10:07 pm.

On day 10, I'm still a big girl, but red collar has moved past me in weight.  I like to be petted ALOT, and will often feel ticklish... moving my leg while I'm being petted.  I also like to lay in the whelping box by myself... I don't cuddle with my littermates as much as some of the others do.

At 2 weeks, my eyes are open the least, but they're getting there!  I can walk now, and almost sit.  I lapped up some milk in a bowl at 13 days... I'm a food motivated kind of girl.

At 3 weeks, I'm pretty laid back.  I love food, and love to train too.  They call me mellow yellow because I don't make much noise or complain.

At 4 weeks, I'm still called mellow yellow because you can hold me any which way, and I don't care.  But, I'm the most adventurous one, and love to explore.  I even played with the big dogs (Rina) the other day.  I kind of bit her nose, but it was friendly.  I'm very playful and love playing with my littermates.

At 5 weeks, I'm now the smallest of the litter.  How did that happen?  I better get to the food bowl before red collar!  I'm very playful, but have a balance between energetic and mellow.  I love all the play equipment, and run through the play yard so I can check it all out.

At 6 weeks, I like spending time outside the pen with my mom and Rina.  I love to nibble on weeds and leaves.  I'm a brave girl, and will explore the entire driveway, and even follow Rina into the front yard. 

At 7 weeks, I've been given the name of "Ricochet" because I kind of bounce off the walls.  I can jump really high and all four feet come off the ground.  I'm very playful and love to explore.  I've already been to the front yard with my littermate, pink.  I'm also very good at sitting politely.

At 8 weeks, my new name is Ricochet (Ricki for short)... because I bounce off the walls with all my puppy energy!  I'm going to stay with Judy in San Diego and continue to be part of the Puppy Prodigies program.  I will be trained as a service dog, and also may be bred so my puppies can become service dogs too.  I will be involved in therapy work, and during my spare time I will go hiking, swimming, dock diving, and even try surfing with my litter mate Kalani (red collar).  I have a big sister, named Rina now, and I really love playing with her.
