OUR AMBASSADOR dogs
Our Ambassador Dogs are highly trained service dogs, but not placed with just one disabled individual. Instead we work closely with other programs and organizations that provide support to veterans with PTSD, kids with special needs and people with disabilities. We assign our dogs to an individual on a short term basis to assist in the treatment plan outlined by their medical provider. The participant becomes the dog handler, and the dog is trained specific tasks to mitigate their disability.
Our dogs are also certified and registered therapy dogs. We provide outreach in the community, attend events, give demonstrations at schools and other organizations, raise awareness and a myriad of other activities.
When our dogs work one-on-one with a person with PTSD in a comfort role, they act as emotional support dogs. The individual with PTSD is handling the dog in these situations.
Ambassador dogs are great role models and teachers for our puppies too. There are certain things dogs are better at teaching a pup than us humans!

RICOCHET
Ricochet is our most well-known Ambassador Dog. She is the one who took us on a detour from our early learning focus. For the last 8 years, we have been supporting Ricochet's efforts as a SURFice dog.
In 2009, she made an independent decision to jump on a disabled boy’s surfboard and started a revolution! She clearly showed the world what her life purpose is. Prior to her, there were no dogs committed to adaptive surfing. As such, she also became the Canine Ambassador for Surfers with Disabilities℠. for more info on Ricochet, check out her website and join her on Facebook.
Ricochet is also a registered therapy dog with Alliance of Therapy Dogs, a certified goal directed therapy dog with Pawsitive Teams. and holds the highest Therapy Dog Title with the AKC.

CORINA (Cori)
Cori came into our lives as a puppy shortly after Ambassador Dog Rina's body left this earth. She is carrying on Rina's spirit and legacy. She is also a golden/lab mix.
She is being trained to be our founder, Judy Fridono's service dog. She will become a therapy dog, and we're waiting to see if she'll follow in Ricochet's paw steps and become a SURFice dog too. We know Cori is here for a divine purpose and we will allow her to be who she truly is. Whatever purpose she shows us, we will honor.
If you'd like to follow her development and training, we post daily in our Facebook group. We also do livefeeds of some of the training sessions. Please join us by clicking the Facebook icon below!

RINA
Rina was a golden/lab mix, and a service dog for our Founder, Judy Fridono. She was the wind beneath Ricochet's wings. She was wise, happy, accommodating, and always had a smile on her face!
Not only was Rina an Ambassador dog and service dog, she was also a goal directed therapy dog with Pawsitive Teams. In addition, she was a registered therapy dog with Alliance of Therapy Dogs, and held a Therapy Dog Title with the AKC.
Rina's body left this earth on Memorial Day, 2016 at 13 years of age. But her spirit remains with us.
